Around the world, Pinoys are celebrating the Feast of Santo Nino. Here’s one from Germany:

Yesterday we celebrated the Feast of Santo Nino at Saint Martin Church in Offenburg. Its already the fifth year that we’re celebrating the Sinulog Fest and I’m proud to say that I never missed a single year. Fr. Louie Collantes officiated the mass, followed by a short procession of our Virgin Mary and images of Santo Nino.

On Jan. 19, 2008, our Sto. Nino Apostolate Group will be celebrating our 30th anniversary of the Sto. Nino Fiesta held in St. Athanasius Church in Long Beach, California. Founded by my beloved father, Bro. Jesus D. Sarte, God Bless his soul, in 1978 originating up north in Salinas, CA and had spread out to Southern California. Bro. Jess left us his legacy of continued love & devotion to the Holy Child Jesus with the Blessed Mother, through house to house prayer and annual fiest celebrations. We all miss him dearly but know that he is with us in spirit. (Submitted by Mary Sarte)
