I would like to commend this page from the Basilica del Santo Niño website:

http://www.basilicadelsantoninodecebu.org.ph/exhibit/index.html

The Basilica has done a very great work in collating a list of the Santo Niño. It contains 46 entries, each with a short write-up.

Hello Mr Greg,

I just wanted to share a short video documentary about the Sinulog.

It is spiritually uplifting. Here is the link below which is also in youtube. You might also want to post the video here.

If you can't view it from the link below, just go to youtube's website and search for Believe Sinulog 2007.

Hi! I'm very happy to learn about this website when i did a search on the santo niño.

Let me introduce myself and our group here in Leicester, UK. We will be celebrating our 6th Fiesta Señor on the 20th of January 2007 (eve of the feast in Cebu). I guess there are more groups here in the UK. It would be good if all these groups can be linked up...and so we are trying, and we can only try and pray, that people will support our initiative starting with an ammateur website: www.freewebs.com/stoninoleics and an egroup: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/stoninoleics/.

We wish to link with you. And most of all we have been trying to link up with the Basilica del Santo Niño in Cebu, but I just lost access to their website one day. Can you help us on this please?

Thank you very much!

Hello,
Are you familiar with the sacred Santo Nino of Zuni?
The image was a gift from the King of Spain given to the Franciscan Mission of Nuestra Senora Candelaria Purisima de Zuni in the year 1629.
It is a beautifully carved, wooden statue of the infant Jesus holding the sphere of dominion in his left hand and offers blessing with his right.
The image will change (often very dramatically) in not only attitude, but also in color and texture, to alert the viewer to the concerns that the Santo has for the devotee kneeling before the shrine.
Pilgrimages were regularly made from Mexico and the western United States in the 1800’s through the 1950’s. But many have forgotten the devotion to the Santo Nino of Zuni. The statue is held very closely to the hearts of the people of Zuni who approached with the utmost respect and reverence.
The people of Zuni forbid any photographs or drawings to be made of the Sacred Child. But the House of the Santo Nino will always send the pilgrim away with a blessed memento, if it is requested of them.
I would be glad to supply more information to you, if you like. Peace, Gene
